5 websites we love: the best online shopping for the mature market

Do you shop online? There are a huge amount of choices out there and they’re increasing every day so it can be a little daunting when you don’t know who to trust. There are so many variables to each online destination that it can have you wondering where to start.

To help you out, we’ve listed our personal favourite fashion websites that sell a great range for over 45’s. Some are specifically targeted to the older demographic and others have a mix but they all have the ageless aesthetic that we love.

Ezibuy

If you’re after a mega-beast of options, Ezibuy’s range is phenomenal. These guys have you covered for any kind of event and for all sizes. In some senses that can be a negative because the volume of choice can be overwhelming. So we suggest going in with a very clear idea of what you’re after and utilise their keyword search at the top of the homepage. If you’ve imagined it, they likely have it!

Birdsnest

It’s no secret that we love Birdsnest. The range is also very wide here, with plenty of well-known brands, but you will likely find you’re pulled in the direction of one of their in-house labels to suit your personal style. It’s a good way to tackle the site – if you know you like classics, search Bird Keepers, plus size is Belle Bird and there is Boho Bird and so on. We view Birdsnest as being in-tune with Australian women of all ages and you won’t be hard pressed to find a healthy choice of flattering cuts and thoughtful fabrications.

Lee Lou Anne

Think. Summer. They do sell winter styles but we get the impression that sales skyrocket at Lee Lou Anne as the weather warms. If you’re a girl who puts comfort and colour at the top of their priorities then look no further. More harem pants than Turkey and more drape styles than Buckingham Palace, it’s choc-a-bloc full of those favourite pieces you pack first for your beachside holiday.

Tulio

Prints, long lines and colour. If you’re looking for something that comes in at the waist you better buy a belt or don’t shop here. The cuts definitely have comfort in mind but there is an elevated aesthetic- more like your nice lunch date rather than a beach holiday. While you have your monochrome options, print-lovers will be spoilt by the ginormous range of colour and patterns found at Tulio. We love that they use a variety of ages with their models too.

Blue Bungalow

A touch more boho than the rest, every time we see an outfit put together on the Blue Bungalow facebook page we immediately stop scrolling. The way they style their looks online would have to be one of our favourite features, second only to the fact that you don’t find much over $100.

  1. Most of my wardrobe comes from Ezibuy. This has been my go to website for my clothes for many years now. I am inspired to have a look as some of these other websites for some summer treats.
