It’s cold in most parts of the country and you may want to stay home in your slippers while you get some things ticked off your to-do list. Alas, the current slippers are worse for wear – the sole has removed from the base creating a flap, there are holes in the toes or weird lumps under your feet from balled-up sheepskin. Gosh, that’s annoying. Even brand new slippers can be uncomfortable if you wear them for an extended period of time. Most offer zero support for tired feet at the end of the day. Strange when this footwear is supposed to be designed for relaxing… why is there so much discomfort?
We’ve discovered that it doesn’t have to be that way. If you like to tottle around the house while staying cosy then seek out some orthopaedic and podiatrist recommended footwear like Archline Orthotic Slippers to keep your tootsies toasty. Built-in with all the support your feet crave- they provide arch support, they’re light, the footbed moulds to your feet, they are ideal for many foot conditions and are anti-bacterial. To be honest, we never thought about our slippers being full of bacteria until now and it’s a bit disturbing.
At $59.95 they’re dearer than regular slippers but we did some research and they’re the best value of their kind. Plus, the few that were comparable in terms of support certainly weren’t so easy on the eyes. Ahem. We like the 30-day money back guarantee and they’re machine washable so you should get some longevity out of them.
They come in different colours and patterns but this classic dark grey style is a standout for us. Just can’t decide if we’d prefer the slip-on or the closed-foot option. What do you think?
