As you know, we have an ongoing list of what Amanda is wearing each week on The Living Room. However we loved this look so much, we’re extending the feature to share an array of after-five pantsuits inspired by Amanda tonight. We already love dressing in similar tones from head to toe (the ultimate slimming trick) but this floral number takes it to the next level. Amanda’s double-breasted jacket nips in her waist making the blazer less like office attire and more dinner dazzler. The ever-so-slight flare pants with front seams coupled with the beautiful floral cement this outfit in the after five glam category – miles away from corporate. Scroll on for a glamorous collection of pantsuits below.
No surprise that the print in this suit is stunning because it’s from Gorman! This set would be perfect for a garden wedding with the muted purple blends and relaxed pant with sensible flats. Or why not get dressed to the nines with pretty rose gold pumps.
The jacquard fabric of this asos set instantly elevates the suit for a formal occasion. We’re envisioning this as a power suit for the confident woman who can blend sophistication with sexy. Add a cami for summer, turtle neck for winter and you will never tire of the mileage you get out of this suit.
Ok, not really a pantsuit but we had to include Sacha Drake because she makes beautifully-cut pieces for the female form. We’ve added a chic white palazzo pant to pair with this stunnnn-ing china-print jacket.
Attention lovers of fun in their fashion! The wide plaid in joyful tones look great paired with the simple tee. You could always dress it up with a metallic shell top for a special birthday function or swap out the matching pants for slimline denim.
If we’re talking suiting we have to include a cherry red option because we love the way it puts a fresh spin on smart jacket set. Wear with a white t-shirt and trainers ala Amanda or point-toe flats and a slinky blouse for a night out.
High-waisted slim trousers are super slick but they must fit your shape well. If they are for your figure then you can step immediately out of work in this tailored pantsuit, change up your accessories and it’s destination socialise!
More from Smart. Casual. Classic.

Don’t like the pants suits with floral top and bottoms. Like the plain with plain or floral with plain
