We’ve never been shy about declaring our love for Birdsnest. This means the Birdsnest girls are well and truly tapped into the matrix. They don’t just follow trends they react to customer needs and listen to customers when they say things like “that dress would be perfect… if only it had a sleeve.”
As long-term fans, we were pleased to discover their ingenious ordering concept, The Changeroom. How does it work? For $9.95, you have the option to upgrade any order to activate the benefits of The Changeroom. You can then add up to $1,000(!) worth of clothing to the order for FREE. Your delivery comes with a complimentary return satchel, and you only pay for the items you keep.
This concept has a huge range of benefits. For example, jeans are the trickiest item to order online, so if you’re perusing the denim, it makes perfect sense to spend an extra $9.95 to potentially try on up to five different options. Simply put the jeans that weren’t right back in the prepaid satchel provided (no hassles at the post office queue!) and put them in your nearest post box to head back to The Nest. You will only be charged for the jeans you keep – or charged nothing if they’re all no good.
What really got us excited about The Changeroom is the potential for group styling sessions. Our idea: invite trusted girlfriends over for an afternoon catch up, perhaps with bubbles, nibbles or tea. Prior to the catch-up, all guests will have made a Birdsnest Changeroom order that has been delivered to the host’s address. You can then spend the afternoon trying different styles and discussing preferences. It’s like the perfect shopping day without having to leave home.
