We spied these pants in Sportscraft and instantly envisioned their versatility and had to create this feature. They tick so many boxes for summer pants in our eyes- they’re linen, they’re a summery mix of blues and warm oranges and they’re in an eternally stylish paisley print. Finding great pants for warm weather is golden. Dresses are great and all but there is nothing like the comfort of a loose linen pant and best of all, there is no need to worry about dreaded chaffing in the heat.
Clearly, these pants work well for casual occasions but we think they have great potential beyond that too. We’ve put together a variety of ways you could wear them to different types of events. Whether you personally prefer a straight leg style or harem, all of these styling options still apply. We just wanted to demonstrate that if you find one pair of pants you love this season, they could be the only ones you need.
- Get Smarty. You may already know how much we love blazers. Even more so when they’re teamed with an unexpectedly-relaxed printed linen pant. Here, Vivienne shows that when crisp meets casual you can get endless mileage from your summer wardrobe.
Vivienne is wearing Sportscraft pants $169.99 // Gordon Smith blazer (not current) // Sportscraft tee $44.95 // Carla Zampatti for Specsavers prescription sunglasses $199 // Louenhide bag (not current) // Florsheim shoes (not current)
2. Keepin’ It Casual. Paired with more linen like this top it’s not only perfect for when the mercury rises it’s also very on trend. We’ve picked up on the blues in the pattern here and ensured both the bag and shoes have texture to them – this carries through the day-look vibe. Also, see those nice lookin’ slides? They’re comfort shoes. Your foot health and your stylish sensibility are well looked after.
3. Time to Dine. Find yourself on holidays but can’t bring yourself to wear restrictive fancy clothing? No need. A loose, almost palazzo style pant like these is actually a bit more glamorous than a straight leg. We styled them with fabrics with a sheen to them to pick up light and make you feel a bit dressier. But still chose tones from the print to ensure the outfit was brought together.
