Julie Walters Style: The Underrated Queen of Glamour

Well-respected actress Julie Walters is what we define as a style star under the radar. The British darling always looks wonderfully put together and we’ve picked up that she is especially impeccable when it comes to red carpet glamour. Julie is often the sparkliest star on the carpet but her bling is never too much, she balances the glitz with simple cuts and understated colours but also knows how to wear brights when the mood strikes her. Even though Julie won a Golden Globe in 1982 for her role in Educating Rita she says she found true success later in life thanks to her choice to age naturally. Her realistic approach to appearance is just one factor that makes her our queen of glamour. And here are the others…

To-die-for tailoring – from a simple jumpsuit to chic suiting, no basic outfit works unless it’s cut to a precision level. It’s the statement feature in an understated look and Julie has hit the nail on the head time and time again. Nipped and tucked in all the right places these are the stars not-so-basic tailored looks.

Great Glitterati- Julie Walters is now officially what we picture when we think of sequins… and we mean that in a great way. There is nothing Priscalla-esq about how Ms Walters wears sparkles, she keeps her colours very reserved along with the necklines but lets the bling run the sartorial show.

It’s All-White. No matter what you’re wearing if it’s all white it’s going to look chic. We know this isn’t the practical choice but when you’re a celebrity who gets to loan clothes and you’re off to an event, you can be assured that every picture will look a treat in white.
